KIT to make tart tin Easter Egg basket
This vintage tart tin "basket" KIT has handles to make from old chenille stems (the holes are already punched in the tin for you), and nicely faded, easter grass from years ago to fill it with.
Hand dyed crepe paper is included to pinch pleat into a ruffle on the bottom of the tin. You get two pink, flocked wallpaper ovals to finish the bottom of the crepe ruffle and to go onto the back of an egg shape with poem taken from a Victorian Easter card. The poem is a pun about eggs, each kit has a different one.
It comes with sweet millinery forget-me-nots, glittered eggs, and a "sugared" duck. There is a netting butterfly to add to the handle.
This basket is meant to hang
about 4" high plus dangling egg
There are no instructions with this kit, but there are photos with step by step instructions on my blog. 2/28/17 www.karlascottage.typepad.com
