This little assemblage is all hand done by myself. I started with an older plaque (3-1/2" square), that I painted and then distressed. To that I glued painted pussy willow twigs and a nest fashioned from glittering, gold.  The star is cut out of card stock and dipped into silver glitter.

Then the fun part began!

The birdie is made of trimmed and dyed pom poms, with vintage wallpaper wings and tail. No patterns or designs were followed, so all of my little birdies are unique babies.  This one sports a crown of gold topped with an old rhinestone, and a black bead eye that was taken from a vintage necklace.
