Prettied up, old ink bottle filled with buttons
I have taken a few glass, vintage ink jars with black metal lids and filled them with an assortment of flea market buttons.

I then created a "label" for the bottles with text taken from a 1931 Needlecraft magazine and stamped  a design onto it, inked the design and added a mother-of-pearl button and an OLD sparkling crystal.  Above that, I've attached a bow made of hand dyed pure silk in a milk chocolate color.

The lid got a circle of the same magazine text, a larger Mother-Of-Pearl button (old and pretty!) with a tiny millinery flower and another sparkling crystal.

This price is for one jar of buttons. I have multiples of these button filled beauties, and while each is made from the same materials, no two are exactly alike, since the ingredients used to create them are one of a kind.    Also, they all have equal amounts of buttons,  but those are also all different, of course.

The jars are 2" wide by 2-1/2" tall.
